Inspection Trips with Trevor

During your Property Inspection trip visit to Spain, you will be shown the very best selection of properties. Because our properties are mainly privately owned Resales, and we are not tied to the portfolio of any particular builder or promoter of  New properties, we have access to an exceptionally wide range of villas and apartments across the whole area.

You will also be shown the full range of facilities that you will be able to enjoy in the area that you prefer. These will include; the best beaches, marinas, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and much more.

Basically, you will wish to get a feel for the area, so that you can make a fully informed decision.

Do not worry, we guarantee that you will not be under any pressure whatsoever when on your Property Inspection trip. People recommend our Company  for our professional approach and total absence of pressure.

Finances You will find a Property Inspection trip Visit  trip a total waste of time and a very frustrating experience, if you do not have your finances arranged beforehand. Mortgages can be arranged here, but you will need a P60 and your last 3 months wage slips. For Retired Persons, they would also need to bring with them a Bank Statement showing a regular income going in to their acccount.  Self employed people will need to bring with them details of income going though their Bank, and Accountants end of the last year Statement.

All potential clients need to bring with them to Spain proof of income.


The Bank's have toughened up on information that they require so as to make sure that the account that is being opened is a genuine residence of the country they are coming from.  This has come about because of the laundering situation (drugs).  Please do not worry about this as Trevor will be here to help and advise you all the way through your purchase !

The other interesting move is that if you try to open a Bank Account for a property that you are going to buy in Spain by going into your local Bank ie Santander in England, they will not do this for you.  They will tell you that you can only do it once you are in Spain.



For anybody who is serious about buying,

if these points are not followed, when you are here in Spain on your Property Inspection trip, you will end up having to go back to the UK, or whatever Country you come from, and then have to return to Spain to produce the proof of income before opening your Account, which means you could lose the property you wish to buy.

You would need to secure any property that you wish to buy with a Deposit of 5,000 euros (or English Sterling).  (This is the law in Spain). When the deposit is paid the property is taken off the market and a date agreed for completion which suits both buyer and seller The sale should take approximately 3 weeks to go through.  We do not accept cheques or Bankers Drafts as these take too long in Spain to clear.  You would either need to bring cash (euro or pounds), or have arranged with your Credit Card Company to obtain your FULL deposit.

  • THE COST OF A Property Inspection TRIP IS ONLY £50 PER Person night. Maximum of 2 persons.
     
  • You book your own flights.  You need to book flights to Alicante Airport in Spain.
     
  • We will arrange your accommodation, food, beverages and collection from and return to  the Airport. Free of Charge.
     
  • Property Inspection Visits are over 3 days, either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.  Unfortunately we cannot cater for week-ends.
     
  • You travel to Spain and view the area, see the properties that are of interest to you, and visit local facilities with us.
  •  
  • Introducing you to English Speaking Solicitor, opening Spanish Bank Account (if you do not already have one), arranging NIE number etc.

  • You would return to Spain 3 to 5  weeks later to complete your purchase (once your offer is accepted, things usually run like clockwork in Spain; no gazumping here!).
DREAMS CAN COME TRUE, BUT YOU MUST COME AND VIEW!

Although there is no obligation to buy, our Property Inspection Visits Trips are designed to cater for the serious buyer only.  

The emphasis is on viewing the area and properties intensively and discussing the legal and administrative side of your purchases.  If you are not genuinely interested in buying a property, you would find the trip boring.  It would be a waste of both our time and yours.

Before you arrive.  


Please have your finances prepared before your Property Inspection trip, and arrange to bring with you a deposit of up to 5000 euros to stop your chosen property being sold to anyone else.
