If you turn off the Punta Prima roundabout on the N332 and drive along the palm tree lined street, you will find a restaurant called the Nautilus. With a large terrace area, the restaurant overlooks the emerald blue Mediterranean Sea and white foaming spray, as it crashes against the rocks below. A vibrant pink flower grows along the rocks and buds from about April. The cooling breeze is perfect on a hot summer's afternoon and the waves are mesmerising. To the left you can clearly see Torrevieja's coastline jolting out into the vast sea. To the right a small, quaint, man made cove with white sand beckons bathers. This area is quite rocky so swimmers need to take caution. There is a safer and longer stretch further on towards Playa Flamenca.
