The pretty town of Torrevieja is only ten minutes drive away with its traditional Spanish shops, Aguapolis water park open during July and August.
Benidorm is 1 hour drive awqay and boasts the famous theme park TERRA MITICA reputed to rival Euro Disney. It also has a large water park. You can also go on a Jeep Safari, wander around the Old Town, or visit Benidorm Palace. There are FREE BUS TOURS available to different areas of interest almost every day of the week. There are 3 GOLF COURSES within 10 minutes drive of San Miguel where the man can play golf while the women can relex by the swimming pool and enjoy the beautiful tranquil surroundings.
San Miguel is not short of distractions and you will never be bored, however it is also a haven of tranquillity which allows you to relax and recharge the batteries.
